Public Relations

The Los Altos Academy of Engineering Public Relations Team has had a vital role in the success of LASV [Los Altos Solar Vehical]. Public Relations, also known as the “PR team,” is in charge of handling all the contacts, publicity, and financial aspects of all LAAE projects. The projects and competitions that LAAE is involved in are very costly and one of PR’s major purposes is to prevent financial obstacles from impeding the students’ progress and production. In addition to raising money and making sure there is enough money to finance all of LAAE’s needs and expenditures, PR is in charge of project management. In order for all the teams and projects to succeed, they must be efficient and meet all their deadlines.
