2009 Botball Southern California Regional Champions

The Botball team has prepared for several weeks now and has competed at the Southern California Regional Competition, with a Powerhouse Performance. After their showing during all of the rounds of competition they left the competition with first place overall. They are currently planning their trip to Virginia in July and attend in the Botball Nationals competition.



In 2005, the Los Altos High School Botball team won four first place trophies: Seeding, Head to Head, Website, and Overall. In the 2005 National competition, the team placed third place in the nation overall and first place in seeding.

In 2006, the Los Altos Botball team won 5th overall out of 50 teams. The National competition was held in Norman, Oklahoma. In the Regional competition, the team won four 1st place trophies.

In 2008, the Los Altos Botball team won 1st place overall in the Regional Competition. They left the competition with four first place trophies, in Documentation, Seeding, Head-to-Head, and Overall. They also left with the trophy for Judge's Choice for best robot design by Owen Wang. In the Nationals competition, they won fifth place overall.
