The Mechanical Foundation

The Mechanical Team deals with the different aspects of the vehicle such as the chassis, the suspension, steering, and driver restraint. Most of the different parts of the car are made by hand using tools such as mills, lathes, tube benders, and welding. The complete chassis and suspension is hand built by mechanical team members. Basically, the mechanical team is responsible for anything made of metal and keeping the driver safe.
